Labradoodles and Goldendoodles are quickly becoming one of the most popular help and companion dogs. Labradoodles are of course a cross between a labradour retriever and a standard poodle. The Labradoodle quickly became popular in Australia and is a recognized breed there. It is just a matter of time before this happens in the U.S. Goldendoodles are a cross between a golden retriever and a standard poodle. This breed too has become equally popular in the U.S. Both dogs are incredibly intelligent, hypoallergenic, and shed very little. We have been breeding labradoodles and goldendoodles for over 8 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed and observed the benefits of these two mixes. Whether you need a hunting dog, a companion, a help dog, watch dog, or just a close friend, you cannot nor will not go wrong with these dogs. What are Goldendoodles Like?
The Goldendoodle has proven to be a highly intelligent, easy to train dog with "gentle" being the most commonly used single word to describe them. They have a beautiful long coat that is soft in texture and can be straight, wavy, or have a loose curl. The shedding factor cannot be determined by this. There is no guarantee as to the amount of or lack hof shedding a particular coat type renders. Through surveys, it has been determined that even the low shedding dogs have proven to be hypo-allergenic for most allergy sufferers.
What are Labradoodles Like?
Like goldendoodles, labradoodles are sociable, friendly, non aggressive, and extremely intuitive. Their intelligence and high trainability make them well suited for guide dogs, therapy dogs, and other assistance dogs. Their non-allergenic coats make them popular among people who have not been able to enjoy pets because of their allergies. Their coats can range from curly, wavy, or more of a straight variation of either. Their social disposition and loyal attributes make them the perfect alert dog without the worry of being overly aggressive.
